It's been a while hasn't it?

Now, the newsletter isn't quite back, although it will likely be sometime in the next few weeks (no promises). But I do have a quick announcement about where you can find me writing these days.

I've reorganized things a bit, and moved my movie writing over to my Patreon. This newsletter will be mostly for TV thoughts and anything else that I get inspired to write about.

Over on the other place, I'm going to be writing about the two big projects I'm tackling in 2025. The first, watching 100 Movies of 1975, I've talked about before on here. The other, however, is more ambitious. I'm currently watching about 250 movies from 2000-2024, and will be making a top 100 ranking of them all.

The rankings will start to be released sometime in September, but I've yet to figure out exactly how that'll work. But there will be a ranking list released, and I'm really excited about it.

In the meantime, I'll be releasing reviews of some (but not all, that would be too much of a headache) of the list of films. These will be free to all, but if you subscribe to my patreon you can be notified when they go live.

There will also be some great content for anyone who signs up for one of the two paid tiers. In the interest of honesty, there's no paid tier only posts available, although that will change over the next couple of weeks. The only place you'll get my extended thoughts on Star Wars will be as a paid member, so if that is something you'd care about, you know what to do.

But beyond the content, being a paid supporter also gives you access to my exclusive Discord. That's worth the monthly fee alone, right? Right?

And as for this newsletter, I know I said all of my Star Wars blathering would be behind a paywall, but that's for the movies.
