One Hundred Movies of 2014, Tenth Anniversary Edition
It's time for the tenth anniversary edition of Amy's 100 Films of 2014 rankings! Will there be a new number one? What films moved up the most? Is there a dig at Zach Braff? Read on to find out!

Okay, so...yeah, here's the thing.
Imagine this was a perfectly on point riff on Interstellar, or a giant bit referencing Gone Girl. That would be a lot of fun, right? You bet it would be!
Unfortunately, time got away from me, and, well, here we are. So instead of doing all of that, we're just going to quickly get to the tenth anniversary edition of my 100 Films of 2014! Like 2020 (and 2015, I think) this is ranked from 100 to 1, and grouped by cute little category names.
And yes, some of these films will be shown as 2013 on Wikipedia, or Letterboxd, or elsewhere. Especially Ernest & Celestine, which really shouldn't have been on this list. But that was the list in ten years ago, and the point is keeping the list and comparing through the years. So there.
Now, one final thing before we get started. I did not watch all 100 movies this time. To be fair, I only started this on December 6, so 40 movies in about three weeks is still a whole lot of films. Instead, Cora picked one movie from the bottom 20 from 2020, I randomly picked another 19 from #80-21, and watched every one of the top 20. You want me to watch the full list? My patreon's right here. I will no longer suffer Zach Braff's pet projects for free, y'know.
On with the rankings!
